True to our previous report, the third variation of OPPO F5 will indeed be released in Malaysia very soon in the form of F5 Youth. As you might be able to recall, OPPO first launched the standard F5 model earlier this month before it announced the pre-order date for F5 6GB yesterday.
However, the F5 Youth will be available for sale starting from 2 December onwards which is much earlier than F5 6GB Red Edition. As a comparison, the pre-order for F5 6GB will only take place from 12 December.
In general, the F5 Youth is identical to the standard F5 model with the exception of its front camera which features 13MP sensor instead of 20MP. Nevertheless, the AI Beauty Recognition technology on F5 and F5 6GB is still available on F5 Youth.
Additionally, the F5 Youth also comes with slightly smaller RAM at 3GB although it still features 32GB internal storage which is similar to the standard F5 model. Other components inside the phone such as MediaTek Helio P23 MT6763T, 6-inch FHD+ display, 16MP rear camera, and 3200mAh are consistent among all three F5 variants.
Price-wise, the OPPO F5 Youth can be obtained at RM 1,098 at all OPPO retailers throughout Malaysia on 2 December.
