U Mobile has opened its registration of interest page for the iPhone 8. The device will go on sale on 20 October 2017, and preorder will start from this Friday, 13 October 2017. You can buy it outright from Apple Malaysia’s online store, authorised Apple resellers in Malaysia, or opt to purchase it from our local telcos, and get the iPhone 8 at a subsidised price when you sign up for a contract.
No payment is required for the ROI from U Mobile; just key in your details including your full name, email address, I/C number, preferred iPhone 8 model, and your purchase & pickup location. Do note that the registration of interest from U Mobile does not equal to a reservation or preorder for the iPhone 8.
U Mobile did not provide any information with regards to the price of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. If you register your interest with the telco, you should be one of the first to receive information about the telco’s iPhone 8 bundle. If the telco follows its trend for the past few years, it should be offering the iPhone 8 with a traditional 24 months contract with its iPlan postpaid/prepaid plans, and hopefully will offer it with U MicroCredit and UPackage instalment plans too.
