You might soon be able to syndicate your Instagram Stories and Facebook Stories without having to re-upload. them separately. Facebook has confirmed that this new feature is officially rolling out to the public, with the exception of businesses. Mostly because the feature is not yet open to them.
Facebook Stories was not that well received by users. Allowing cross-posting is likely an attempt to attract users, and it might actually work. That said users can’t post from Facebook Stories to Instagram Stories. But its safe to say that this feature might be included in future updates.
This new update also hints the possibility that Facebook trying to create an easy cross-posting platform between its family of apps: Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Messenger. In near future, you might be able to share a single upload on all apps at the same time.
Facebook’s new update will definitely attract more users in using Facebook Stories, and might have just given us a glimpse of its future plans of platform integration.
