Razer BlackWidow X Now Available in New Mercury & Gunmetal Colourways in Malaysia; Costs RM50 Less

Just recently, Razer introduced two new colourways for its range of PC peripherals: Mercury and Gunmetal. Essentially, some of Razer’s Chroma products are now available in either White or Grey, but surprisingly enough, the Mercury and Gunmetal variants of the Razer BlackWidow X mechanical keyboard is actually more affordable than the standard model.

On Razer’s Malaysian online store, the Mercury and Gunmetal BlackWidow X are listed at RM799. The standard BlackWidow X, on the other hand, retails at RM849; that’s RM50 more than the new colourways, which is pretty odd. However, it’s worth noting that every purchase of the standard BlackWidow X – at the time of writing – comes with a set of Razer Metallic Keycaps worth RM139.

It’s not just the BlackWidow X that is available in the two new colourways. Other Razer products that can be purchased in Mercury or Gunmetal now include the Razer Lancehead TE, Razer Kraken 7.1 V2, and the Razer Invicta mousepad. However, bar the Invicta and BlackWidow X, all of these items are not available in Razer’s Malaysian online store yet.

Both the Razer BlackWidow X mechanical keyboard and Razer Invicta mousepad in Mercury and Gunmetal are now available in Razer’s Malaysian online store. Unlike the BlackWidow X, all colour options of the Invicta are priced the same at RM309.
