While Xiaomi has no plans to release its gorgeous Mi Mix smartphone for sale in Malaysia, the Doogee Mix is. Inspired by the bezel-free design of the Mi Mix, the Doogee Mix is available via Doogee’s official store in Lazada.
Interestingly, it appears the variant sold in Malaysia is slightly different from the one announced globally. The display is a lower-res 720 AMOLED one instead of a Full HD screen, but the Malaysian unit makes up for this with a generous 6GB of RAM – perhaps the lowest-priced smartphone with this in Malaysia.
The other hardware specs are the same as the global version: MediaTek Helio P25 octa-core processor, 64GB of expandable storage, dual-SIM with dual-standby, fingerprint sensor, 5MP front camera with Auto Beauty Mode, and a dual-camera setup at the rear (16MP with PDAF + 8MP). It also runs on Android 7.0.
According to the listing on Lazada, the Doogee Mix will also come with two cases: a silicone case and a leather one as well. It also is available in two colours: Black and “Purple” (it really does look more like blue).
The Doogee Mix retails at RM1,399 and will come with one year local warranty. Check out the official Lazada listing here.
