Back in March this year, MSI opened its very own online store in Malaysia. Now, the Taiwanese company announced that it is on Lazada too. In conjunction with the launch of its Lazada store, MSI is offering a number of discounts on some of its gaming laptops; some of them are also bundled with extra RAM and gaming headphones.
Five of MSI’s gaming laptops are currently discounted on Lazada: the GE62VR, GP62VR, PE70, and two models of the GL62M. The most well-equipped machine of the lot is the GE62VR, which comes with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5 GPU. Naturally, it’s also the most costly: it retails at RM6,899. Throughout the promotion period, however, the GE62VR will receive a RM300 discount and an 8GB RAM stick.
A tier down is the GP62VR, which also comes with a GTX 1060 GPU, but it’s the 3GB GDDR5 model instead. Much like the GE62VR, this particular laptop is also currently going for RM300 less. Instead of a RAM stick, however, MSI is bundling an MSI DS502 headset with every purchase of the GP62VR.
Last but not least are the PE70 and two different variants of the GL62M laptops. Unlike the GE62VR and GP62VR, however, these three laptops got a slightly lower RM200 discount. On top of the discount, they also come with 4GB RAM sticks.
This promotion is currently ongoing on MSI Malaysia’s Lazada store, and it will end on 13 August. However, the product page of each individual laptop shows that the promotion will run until 31 August instead. Nonetheless, if you’re shopping for a new gaming laptop, these offers may be worth considering.
