EVGA is well-known name among PC enthusiasts throughout especially when it comes to graphics card but some consumers in Malaysia might not be aware that the company also has laptops under its wings. Well, heads up – you might be able to spot the EVGA laptop in our market soon.
While nothing is officially confirmed at the moment but our sources have stated that EVGA SC15 will be making its way into Malaysia this coming August. As for EVGA SC17, its release status in Malaysia is not yet known but since it carries 6th generation Intel Core processors, we don’t expect it to be released here.
Equipped with a 15.6-inch full HD IPS display by AUO, SC15’s display also has a refresh rate of 120Hz and supports NVIDIA G-Sync tech natively. It also carries Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB graphics card, 16GB DDR4-2400 by G.Skill, 256GB M.2 NVMe solid state drive, Seagate’s 1TB 5400rpm hard drive, and full RGB keyboard as standard.
Our sources didn’t provide us with the expecting pricing for SC15 in Malaysia but as a comparison, the EVGA SC15 gaming laptop is priced at USD 1,899.99 in United States which equals to about RM 8,167. We’ll keep you updated once we receive more information regarding the laptop’s arrival in our market.
