Colorful has unveiled its latest graphics card called the GT 1030 2G. According to the company, this graphics card is suitable for non-graphics intensive use at home or at the office; which is to be expected given how the GT 1030 is a low-end graphics card, after all.
That aside, when it comes to design, the Colorful GT 1030 2G comes in a ‘typical’ all black plastic cooler shroud, which houses one 90mm open-air cooling fan. In addition, the graphics card also features “compact thermal fins” to assist the card in lowering its temperatures when under heavy load.
Speaking of which, Colorful’s GT 1030 2G boasts base and boost clock speeds of 1227MHz and 1468MHz respectively. Besides that, the graphics card also has a TDP rating of merely 30W, which is drawn directly through the PCIe slot. It’s worth noting that this graphics card will only come with a VRAM capacity of 2GB.
Unfortunately, it’s not known whether Colorful will be making its GT 1030 2G graphics card available in Malaysia. Likewise, pricing was not mentioned either. Regardless, if you are the type of consumer that just wants to slap on an affordable graphics card onto your system without worrying too much about smooth gaming performance, then the GT 1030 2G is definitely worth considering.
