Good news for Tune Talk subscribers who are going to fly with Air Asia soon. The telco is currently having a buy 1 free 1 promotion for Rokki internet plans on selected Air Asia flights. Stay connected together with your friends while you’re up in the air from as low as RM9.
There are two Rokki internet plans to pick from. The RM9 Chats Plan offers 3MB of data for use on chat apps such as WhatsApp, WeChat, Line, Kakao Talk and Viber. The RM18 Internet Plan offers 10MB of data for lightweight usage, “best suited for apps”.
For the Chats Plan, once you reach your allocated data quota, you can stay connected however, your speed will be throttled to 10Kbps. For Internet Plan, you will be disconnected, so you will need to purchase a new token to continue. Each Rokki token is valid for 12 months from date of purchase.
Do note that, tokens purchased on ground before your flight, and tokens purchased by cash on board can be used on other Rokki-enabled flights if the token has not been activated. Tokens purchased during flight by credit card cannot be used on other Rokki-enabled flights as he token is automatically activated on your mobile device once the transaction is successful.
