Long before Uncharted, Naughty Dog studios made a different sort of action adventure game: Jak and Daxter. The series was a hit on the PlayStation 2; and is now being remastered for a whole new generation on the PS4.
Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, Jak 3, and Jak X: Combat Racing are all being released as digital downloads later this year. PlayStation hasn’t provided a time frame, but we expect to see it appear in the late summer (when these kinds of games tend to appear).
The Jak and Daxter series is somewhat similar to Uncharted, in that it features a lot of exploration and puzzle solving. Of course, it instead stars some sort of elf with his animal sidekick.
PlayStation has up-rendered the games to 1080p, which leaves the graphics looking relatively the same as they did almost 15 years ago. Trophy support has also been implemented for those who can about that sort of thing.
