Made for photography buff, ASUS ZenFone 3 Zoom was first announced to the world back at CES 2017 earlier this year. The new smartphone is now available for consumers in Malaysia although it seems that the phone can only be obtained from a single retailer at the moment.
The said retailer is DirectD who have listed ZenFone 3 Zoom on its online store with a price tag of RM 2,099. This is despite the fact that ASUS Malaysia’s long-time smartphone distributor, Dynamics Distribution has yet to reveal the pricing for the phone.
Even ASUS Malaysia has not listed ZenFone 3 Zoom on its own Lazada store at the time this article is published. Nevertheless, there is no reason to doubt DirectD’s listing anyway since the retailer has stated that any ZenFone 3 Zoom that purchased from its store comes with 1 year warranty from ASUS Malaysia.
Featuring two separate 12-megapixels camera systems on its rear camera with one designed for general photography, and another for zoom photography, the ZenFone 3 Zoom runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 and 4GB RAM. It also comes standard with a 5.5-inch full HD 1080p display, 64GB internal storage, 13-megapixels front camera, and 5000mAh battery.
