Maxis recently updated its Power of One promotion, offering beyond just mobile devices. For only RM1, you can now get either a brand new device, a year’s worth of subscription on selected streaming services, 365 days of unlimited roaming, branded mobile accessories, or a Chromecast and Wi-Fi extender.
Before this, Maxis Power of One only offered a choice between a 4G smartphone, Maxis 4G pocket Wi-Fi, MaxisONE Kid watch, or a Chromecast and Wi-Fi extender. With this update, you can now have a wider choice of what you want to do with your RM1.
The catch? A contract of course. Sign up for a contract with MaxisONE Plan 188/158/128/98 and get a 4G smartphone for only RM1. A 24-month contract applies for purchases of devices on Maxis Power of One. Devices available for purchase include Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), iPhone SE, Oppo F1s, Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime, Galaxy J5 (2016), Huawei GR3, Vivo Y55, and Galaxy J3.
As for entertainment, for only RM1, you get a 365-day subscription on streaming services including iflix, Spotify and Viu. Sign up for a 12-month contract with MaxisONE Plan 158 and get 1-year premium subscription on all three platforms worth RM420. Sign up for a 12-month contract with MaxisONE 128 and get 1-year premium subscription on iflix and Spotify worth RM300.
Travel frequently? This is definitely the most attractive deal on Power of One. For only RM1, you can get 365 days worth of unlimited roaming to selected countries. Unlimited roaming includes unlimited international calls and SMS (receive any incoming calls, make all the calls you want to anyone in the world), and unlimited data – get 500MB of data, and continue to surf with your local data on MaxisONE plan data quota.
MaxisONE 188 offers 365 days unlimited roaming to Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Brunei, Philippines, Cambodia and Laos. MaxisONE 158 subscribers will enjoy 365 days unlimited roaming to Singapore only. A 12-month contract applies for this promotion.
Finally, Maxis Power of One also offers branded accessories, or a Chromecast and a WiFi Extender for only RM1. RM1 accessories offered in this promotion include Harman Kardon Onyx Mini speaker worth RM753.77, Monster iSport Victory earphone worth RM554.72, and Monster Clarity HD earphone worth RM424.53.
