Rejoice fellow PC gamers and enthusiasts: Zotac has announced price reductions for its lineup of GTX 1070 graphics cards. The company had earlier announced price revisions for several of its GTX 1080s following Nvidia’s price cut announcement.
Zotac GTX 1070s that are affected by its recent price revision are the GTX 1070 AMP Extreme, GTX 1070 AMP Edition, and GTX 1070 Mini. To be more specific, the GTX 1070 AMP Extreme now comes at a new MSRP of RM2,229, down from being previously priced at RM2,399. Next, the GTX 1070 AMP Edition graphics card is now modestly priced at RM2,189 which is about RM50 less compared to its older MSRP.
The most affordable GTX 1070 graphics card by Zotac, the GTX 1070 Mini, is now even more affordable at RM1,949. This graphics card was previously priced at around RM1,999. It’s worth noting, however, that Zotac Malaysia made no mention about whether its GTX 1070 price cut is permanent or merely temporary.
Oddly, it currently seems like Zotac is the only graphics card manufacturer reducing its GTX 1070 prices. Nonetheless, folks who are looking for a graphics card that can run games at 1440p smoothly should definitely consider the GTX 1070 – especially now that it’s even more affordable.
