Cooler Master has announced the availability of three of its PSUs under the MasterWatt Lite series in Malaysia. According to the well known company, the MasterWatt Lite PSUs are targeted at consumers who wants “reliable, affordable power.”
Despite being rather ‘affordable’ Cooler Master has mentioned that all of its MasterWatt Lite series of PSUs come with adequate safety ratings. These include meeting the ErP 2013 and CE ratings along with additional protection to reduce the risk of possible damage to the system. In addition, MasterWatt Lite PSUs also come with 80Plus White certification as well.
The most affordable of the MasterWatt Lites, the 500W variant, comes at a modest price tag of RM239. Meanwhile, the MasterWatt Lite 600W is priced slightly higher at RM269. Cooler Master’s most powerful PSU under its MasterWatt Lite lineup is the 700W variant, which interestingly is slapped with a fair price of RM309.
Oddly, the price and availability of the MasterWatt Lite 400W PSU was not mentioned by Cooler Master. Regardless, if you are currently looking for an affordable PSU that is both reliable and fairly ‘safe’, then the MasterWatt Lite lineup of PSUs should definitely be considered.
