The popular cashback site Shopback recently has announced that its users in Malaysia are now able to take advantage of its platform when they took a ride to their destination with Uber. Even though the official announcement took place last week, the integration between both platform already available for users since late January 2017.
In terms of the actual rewards, it depends on the type of Uber customers as newly signed customers are able to receive RM 5 cashback while existing users only able to get RM 0.20. Do note that users have to request for their Uber rides within 10 minutes of clicking on the Uber link in the Shopback Malaysia app.
Additionally, this benefit can only be obtained through Uber rides in Malaysia as Shopback credentials are very specific to each market. In other words, one can’t log in to Shopback Singapore using Shopback Malaysia’s details and vice versa.
Meanwhile, Shopback is also celebrating its 2nd anniversary today. Just like last year, users are able to obtain higher amount of cashback with up to 100% today from a variety of participating retailers including Lazada, Qoo10, Nike, and many more.
