Well, it looks like there is another smartphone in Malaysia that has just received its Android 7.0 Nougat update. This time around, its the Moto Z – as confirmed by Moto Malaysia’s official Facebook page earlier today.
As opposed to Samsung’s Nougat update which contains custom tweaks, the update for Motorola smartphones should be much closer to a stock Nougat. According to Motorola, among the improvement that users could expect from the update is better notifications controls, battery and data saver features, multi-window view, and apps quick switcher.
Not to forget, the update also turns Moto Z into a Daydream-ready phone. This means that users are able to utilize it with Daydream View headset and enjoy contents that are available on the mobile virtual reality platform.
Meanwhile, a quick check through Moto’s official site also stated that Moto Z Play, Moto X Force, Moto X Play, and Moto X Style in Malaysia will also receive Android 7.0 Nougat update very soon. However, the site didn’t mention any exact timeline for the rollout.
