We’ve seen a fair share of new gaming laptops with the new high performance Intel Kaby Lake chips as well as NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti from numerous OEMs recently. Now, local laptop customizer Illegear has also introduced such options for its laptops.
In general, all five families of Illegear laptops can now be obtained with the new 7th generation Intel Core processors. Depending on respective models, these are the new Kaby Lake chips that consumers can choose to equip into their Illegear laptops:
Z Series: Core i7-7700HQ
S Series: Core i7-7700HQ, Core i7-7820HK
D series: Core i5-7500, Core i5-7600K, Core i7-7700, Core i7-7700K
Q series: Core i7-7700HQ
U Series: Core i3-7100U, Core i7-7500U
As for the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti options, they are only available for Illegear Q series laptops though. That being said, the rest of Illegear laptops with the exception of U series are already available with higher-end NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10 series graphics cards anyway.
Meanwhile, programmable RGB keyboard has also been added to the Illegear Q series. At the same time, the company has also removed the DVD drive option for the laptops in the series which made them slightly lighter than their predecessors.
Available from today onwards, the starting price of these refreshed Illegear laptops ranges from RM 4,199 to RM 7,899. Of course, actual price of each Illegear laptops depend on what customers choose to equip in them which can be done through the brand’s official online store.
