Chinese New Year is just around the corner, and to celebrate the upcoming festival, Sony Malaysia is offering several freebies with every purchase of selected Xperia smartphones. These include devices in the Xperia X series, the Xperia Z5 family, as well as the mid-range Xperia M5.
Not surprisingly, the Xperia XZ – the flagship of the X series – gets the most valuable freebies. These include Sony’s SBH80 bluetooth headset, a transparent silicone case, a screen protector, as well as a Layflat Photobook voucher. This promotion also offers Sony’s Screen Warranty Care+ for the Xperia XZ; all of these are worth RM837.
Every purchase of the Xperia X, on the other hand, comes with Sony’s DK52 charging dock, a casing, as well as a screen protector. Much like the Xperia XZ, the Xperia X also gets the Screen Warranty Care+. As for the Xperia XA and XA Ultra, both devices get the same freebies as the Xperia X except for the extra screen warranty and screen protector.
Interestingly, the Xperia X Compact is the only device that gets a complimentary 32GB Class 10 microSD card; it also gets a casing and a screen protector. Last but not least are the Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia Z5 and Xperia M5, which come with a DK52 charging dock worth RM139.
Sony Malaysia’s Chinese New Year promotion is currently ongoing, and it will end next month on the 5th of February 2017. This promotion is valid at selected Sony Stores, Sony Centres, and authorised Sony dealers throughout Malaysia.
