CES 2017: Asus ZenBook 3 Deluxe Is A Bigger ZenBook With More Ports

Asus has introduced a big brother for its ZenBook 3 in the form of the 14-inch ZenBook 3 Deluxe. The notebook still looks like the original Zenbook 3, especially since it squeezes the 14-inch display into a 13-inch body using the minimal bezel trend.

It’s no slouch in the hardware department either, packing up to 16GB RAM and a 1TB PCIe SSD. There’s not much information about the processor at the moment, and all Asus is saying is that it will use the latest seventh generation Intel Core. We’re inclined to believe that these could be the lowered powered Y-variants. Mostly due to the size of the ZenBook 3 Deluxe.

The best news is that Asus managed to get three USB Type-C ports onto the ZenBook 3 Deluxe; two of which support Thunderbolt 3 connections. This provides plenty of options, although the lack of legacy ports still means that adapters and dongles are necessary. Especially in the event that someone wants to use a mouse with the ZenBook 3.

Not much else is known about the ZenBook 3 Deluxe right now, and we expect the pricing to be announced closer to the release date.
