For those of you who wish to start the New Year with a new telco plan, redONE has just introduced two new postpaid plans that offers up to 20GB of monthly data. Called the “Amazing Plans”, get 10GB of mobile data for only RM28 a month, or 20GB of data for only RM48 a month. Like most redONE plans, these new plans still offers free unlimited calls to all redONE numbers.
Available from 1 January 2017 onwards, the monthly data for these two new plans are split into two – 4G LTE and Basic Internet. The Amazing28 plan offers 4GB of 4G LTE data and 6GB of basic internet, while the Amazing48 plan comes with 8GB of 4G LTE data and 12GB of basic internet. On top of that, Amazing48 plan also comes with an additional 200 minutes of free calls to all local mobile networks and fixed line numbers.
Do note that the free calls to all redONE number for these plans are subjected to fair usage policy. As for the monthly data, once you’ve used it all up, your speed will be throttled to a maximum of 64kbps until your data gets refreshed the next month, or you may opt to purchase Data Top Up to continue surfing at high speed.
The 200 minutes of free calls for Amazing48 is not listed in the plan, but according to the FAQ and Terms and Conditions, it is available for all calls made to Malaysian mobile networks and fixed line numbers. It is not valid for video calls and voice calls to special numbers.
