We have been hearing regarding its arrival in Malaysia for the past few weeks which is why it is about time for HTC to officially launch its One A9 in our market. As it turns out though, the price is exactly as per what has been reported before.
Before that, let us briefly touch on what the One A9 has to offer for consumers. Built with a metal frame and brushed metal finish, the new smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor alongside 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. HTC apparently has no plan to release the lower-end variant with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage into Malaysia.
At the same time, the new phone also features a 5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) display as well as 13-megapixels autofocus rear camera with optical image stabilizer. Additionally, there is also a 2-megapixels UltraPixel camera on the front.
To round things up, the One A9 is equipped with a 2,150 mAh battery that provides it up to 16 hours of 3G talk time and 18 days of 3G standby time. Priced at RM 2,299, the new HTC One A9 is now available in Carbon Gray and Topaz Gold through HTC’s authorized dealers all over Malaysia.
