Corsair Malaysia has announced the availability of its Force Series LE SSDs in Malaysia. Corsair’s new SSDs come in four storage variants starting from 120GB up to 960GB. According to Corsair, all of its Force LE SSDs are equipped with the latest TLC – Triple Level Cell – NAND flash memory, which makes them somewhat more affordable compared to other SSDs in the market.

One of the more interesting feature that comes with Corsair’s Force LE SDDs is the low power consumption, which is due to the added DEVSLP – device sleep – support. In addition to that, Corsair mentioned that the Force Series LE SSDs are equipped with a built-in SmartECC and SmartRefresh technology, which allows for reliable preservation of data along with efficient error correction capabilities.

Corsair’s newest SSDs has a maximum read speed of up to 510MB/s, while write speeds are said to be at 460MB/s. In addition to that, Force Series LE SSDs have a TBW – Total Bytes Written – of 60TB along with three years of warranty. TBW is a measurement that is usually used by SSD manufacturers to give consumers an estimate on how long a particular SSD can last before encountering prolonged usage issues.

What makes Corsair’s Force Series LE SSDs special is the pricing. The most affordable variant being the 120GB SSD, which is priced at RM249. Meanwhile, the 240GB and 480GB storage options will retail for RM369 and RM659 receptively. The most expensive variant would be the 960GB SSD which will retail for a price of RM1,792, which is slightly more expensive compared to Kingston’s HyperX Savage 960GB SSD, which currently retails for RM1,700.
