Starting from 1 November 2016 onwards, Webe is offering its unlimited plan to everyone with monthly fee of RM 79 or RM 83.76 when added with GST. Prior to today, customers are only able to enjoy such monthly fee if they are TM or P1 customers and using one of webe’s certified devices.
At the same time, the new promo has also been extended to existing Webe customers. In other words, Webe’s monthly fee for these customers is now permanently set at RM 79 as well even if they switched to other ISPs and non-Webe certified smartphones later today.
At the time being, Webe is making its rather clear that the elimination of the tiered discount is part of its #WebeNow promotion even though the impact to existing customers as well as new customers that choose to sign up for the service from today onwards is permanent. However, the telco didn’t state the exact end date for this promotion.
Aside from the elimination of the tiered discounts during the promotion period, everything else regarding Webe remains the same. This include the RM 106 upfront fee and RM 6.36 charge to unlock hotspot capability for two hours.
