Kingston might be known more as a company that produces memory modules, solid state drive, and flash storage but it also produces gaming headset under its high-performance HyperX brand. Proved to be quite popular among gamers with more than one million units have been sold globally since 2014, the company has recently released a new model called HyperX Cloud Stinger into our market.
Draped in black with a little touch of red through the HyperX logo on its ear cups, the Cloud Stinger is designed to deliver comfort to gamers. This is why the headset is quite light at 295 grams and is also equipped with HyperX’s signature memory foams on its rotatable ear cups.
Cloud Stinger features a pair of 50mm neodymium drivers alongside a unidirectional noise-cancelling passive microphone that can be muted just by lifting it upright. To make the Cloud Stinger more durable, Kingston has added adjustable steel slider into the headset.
