For those of you who have just signed up with Digi to get the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus last night, now is a great time to download the telco’s MyDigi app. Digi is giving away 1GB of data for free for all new MyDigi app users.
All you need to do is visit the App Store or Google Play Store to download MyDigi app. Once done, you will receive a notification telling you that you have a gift from the telco. Open it, go to Add-ons/Freebies Redemption within 24 hours, redeem and enjoy your welcome gift.
This promotion is valid to first time MyDigi users only, and you must redeem the gift within 24 hours after receiving the gift ready notification. The 1GB welcome gift should be credited to your account within 5 minutes, and will be reflected at your MyDigi app homepage.
Do note that Digi will track users based on their MSISDN and NRIC, so no, if you uninstall and install the MyDigi app again, you will not get the welcome token again; neither can you insert your SIM into a new device and download the MyDigi app to redeem the gift.
