A name that is highly associated with film cameras, Kodak has teases a brand new smartphone over its social media channels and official website. It might sounds rather odd but this is not the first smartphone from the company though.
Kodak’s first smartphone actually came in the form of IM5 that was launched back at CES 2015. Given how Kodak is known as photography-oriented brand, it was quite a surprise when IM5 was revealed to be a simple 5-inch mid-range smartphone although it did carry 13-megapixels rear camera as well as 5-megapixels.
Manufactured by Bullitt Mobile, Kodak IM5 was not released to a lot of market but that doesn’t seem to stop Kodak from having another smartphone with its name on the device. That being, it is not known for now whether Bullitt is still responsible for the upcoming Kodak smartphone or otherwise.
Aside from this particular teaser, there is no other information regarding the new Kodak smartphone is known at the moment. So, let’s see if the new Kodak smartphone will have the potential to make a mark in the smartphone world once it is shown to the world on 20 October 2016.
