The stylish honor 8, the sequel to one of 2015’s best value for money smartphones in Malaysia, is now available for sale in Malaysia.
True to its tradition, the honor 8 packs powerful hardware at an affordable price; the stylish metal and glass exterior only helps make the device more attractive.
Powering the honor 8 is a Kirin 950 2.3GHz octa-core processor paired with 3 or 4GB of RAM, a 5.2-inch full HD display, a 3,000mAh battery with fast charge, fingerprint sensor, and storage options of 32GB and 64GB.
The main highlight of the honor 8 lies at the back. The honor 8 features a 12MP dual-camera setup with 6-element lens and f/2.2 aperture, assisted by a laser autofocus system. The dual-camera setup is similar to that of the Huawei P9, with an RGB sensor paired with a monochrome sensor.
In Malaysia the honor 8 will be available in two variants, with the difference only being in storage. honor is bringing in only the 4GB RAM variant to the Malaysian market. The 4GB RAM/32GB storage variant will retail for RM1,699, while the 4GB RAM/64GB storage option will be sold at RM1,899.
The honor 8 will be available for purchase via Vmall.my and select retail partners starting 10:08am Thursday, 8 September 2016. The honor 8 will be available in four colours: Pearl White, Midnight Black, Sapphire Blue, and Sunrise Gold (exclusive to 64GB variant only). All honor 8 will come with 1 year warranty with one-to-one swap service, with 3 months screen crack protection.
