ZTE has today announced the arrival of the company’s latest flagship smartphone, the Axon 7. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, the smartphone is also packed with plenty of impressive hardware.

The Axon 7 was announced globally at the end of May this year. Besides the Snapdragon 820 2.15GHz chip, the Axon 7 also features impressive hardware that includes a 5.5-inch 2K display, 64GB of UFS 2.0 storage with a microSD card slot (up to 128GB), a 20MP rear camera with OIS and PDAF, a 3,250mAh battery, fingerprint sensor, and USB Type C connector.

Just like the Axon Elite released some time back in Malaysia, ZTE worked with BMW’s global design consultancy, Designworks, to design the Axon 7. The all metal body and 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 4 provide protection and a premium design, while the dual front facing speakers are enhanced with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Digital Surround audio technologies.

ZTE is also offering an impressive array of after-sales service for the Axon 7. It ships with a TPU case and screen protector, and comes with a two-year warranty as standard. There is also a one-time free repairs for water damage throughout the warranty period, as well as a one-time screen repairs for the first six months of warranty.

Starting today until 10 September, a pre-order campaign will run on Lazada Malaysia, where the first 30 pre-orders will receive a ZTE VR headset worth RM399.
