If you’re in the market for an affordable Android smartphone, Doogee has just announced the availability of two new devices in Malaysia, the Doogee X5 Max and the X5 Max Pro. Retailing from only RM299, these two smartphones are quite well-equipped.
Despite its low price tag, the Doogee X5 Max is packed with a 5-inch 720p IPS display, a rear fingerprint sensor, as well as a generous 4,000mAh battery. Other specifications of the X5 Max include a MediaTek MTK6580 quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, support for microSD cards up to 32GB, as well as Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
The more costly Doogee X5 Max Pro, on the other hand, shares similar hardware as the X5 Max, although it has double the RAM and storage at 2GB and 16GB respectively. In the camera department, both the X5 Max and X5 Max Pro have 8MP rear cameras as well as 5MP front-facing shooters.
According to Doogee Malaysia, the X5 Max and X5 Max Pro are now available for purchase in Malaysia from authorised retail outlets. The X5 Max goes for only RM299, while the X5 Max Pro carries a slightly heftier RM459 price tag.
