Set to take place on 16 July (that’s tomorrow), the famed Sungei Wang Plaza In Kuala Lumpur will be hosting a launch party to celebrate the arrival of the new Monster Hunter Generations in Malaysia. Organized by Kyo’s Game Mart, the launch event has obtained official support by the game’s developer Capcom as well as Maxsoft who is the official distributor for all things Nintendo in South East Asia.
Made for Nintendo 3DS, the game was originally released in Japan last November as Monster Hunter X. Claimed to offer the “most dynamic Monster Hunter experience yet”, Monster Hunter Generations apparently comes with several new mechanics for gamers to check out such as the Hunting Style system and new special moves called Hunting Arts alongside a number of new monters.
While the launch event served as the main collection point for Kyo’s Game Mart pre-order customers, there will still be extra units of Monster Hunter Generations available for walk-in customers tomorrow on first comes, first serve basis. The game shop will also be giving away Monster Hunters Generations posters throughout the event which have been autographed by the producer of the game himself, Shintaro Kojima.
Kyo’s Game Mart also mentioned that there will be Monster Hunter merchandise available for sale at the launch party. As the event also takes place alongside the on-going VBG Anime Fest 2016, it is likely to be a very fun-filled day for everyone. Hunters, consider this launch party as one of the place to hang out tomorrow.
