As TM getting more over-the-top (OTT) content providers to be its partners, the company has also made other related announcement during its HyppTV media briefing earlier today. Given how we are going into Hari Raya celebrations soon, four of HyppTV premium channels will be made available for free during Hari Raya season.
Starting from today onwards until 15 July 2016, these premium channels include the youth-oriented channel HyppInspirasi as well as HyppSensasi which is targeted at Malay viewers. Also included in the list are Hindi movie channel Sony Max, and Korean channel tvN (previously known as Channel M).
Later in the month, Rio 2016 Olympic Games will also be shown on HyppTV through seven dedicated live channels. Around the same time, HyppTV viewers will also able to catch matches from International Champions Cup (ICC) 2016 that will feature well-known teams such as Barcelona, Manchester United, Real Madrid, and more.
Both sporting events will be made available for free to all HyppTV users regardless of whether they are viewing through HyppTV set-top box at home or through HyppTV Everywhere apps. All in all, there are plenty for HyppTV users to catch through this month especially for sports lovers without extra costs to them.
