Regret getting a 16GB iPhone 6/6s because you’re running out of storage, and there’s no way of expanding it? SanDisk has a solution for you. The company recently announced the iXpand Memory Case that instantly gives your iPhone 6/6s up to 128GB of additional storage space.
Sure, there are dongles out there that can give you extra storage or lets you easily transfer data to a memory card, but the iXpand Memory Case connects to the Lightning port on the device to give you the additional space without the need to carry around another accessory. There’s even a slot that lets you connect an optional 1900mAh battery pack to give you that extra power when needed.
The iXpand Memory Case requires a companion app to work. Once connected, you can automatically back up your camera roll and even password-protect your photos and files.
Sadly though, the case is only available for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s. If you have an older iPhone, or even the larger iPhone 6 Plus or iPhone 6s Plus, you’ll need to look for something else, or just wait for the next iPhone. The iXpand Memory Case is available in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB options for US$59, US$99 and US$129 respectively.
