Earlier this year, LG announced a new series of smartphones, the LG X cam and LG X screen, which are made to “offer customers a unique experience by offering one exceptional feature”. The X cam, as its name suggests, focuses on providing a quality camera experience, while the X screen focuses on the display with an always-on second screen similar to the one found on the LG V10. Now, the company has got four new additions to its X series of smartphones – the LG X power, X mach, X style and X max, each equipped with its own unique “specialist” feature.
The X power promises to deliver an exceptional battery life with its 4,100mAh battery. There is fast charging on board, which according to LG, enables the X power to charge at twice the normal speed.

The X mach on the other hand is targeted at speed. There is a 1.8GHz processor on board, but what makes it stand out is its support for LTE Cat 9 3CA data transfer speed. Other specs include QHD IPS Quantum display , a “gently curved form factor for a perfect grip, and a camera with 1.55μm sensor on board.
For those who want a stylish smartphone, the X style is for you. It has an “elegant design” with graceful curved lines and an extra-slim body. Finally, for the X Max, this phone is designed to deliver a great multimedia experience with a large display for an enhanced viewing experience.
Sadly though, LG did not mention other specs on these devices, but don’t expect them to be too great. The aim of the X series of smartphones is to deliver one exceptional quality so the company can keep the price low, while offering a feature that users truly need.
“Each X series smartphone pairs perfectly with its user by offering uncompromising quality and one truly outstanding feature that speak the user’s personal preference and lifestyle – all at a great value. The newly expanded X series demonstrates LG’s commitment to offering top flight performance with premium features at a satisfying price.” – Juno Cho, president of LG Electronics and the Mobile Communications Company.
Pricing and availability will be announced locally in each market.
