At the honor 5C’s media session today, honor Malaysia has revealed more details on the device’s availability in Malaysia. Naturally, the 5C’s retail prices were also revealed, which start from RM799; this confirmed an earlier leak. At that price point, those who are looking for an affordable mid-range smartphone have another option now.
In terms of specification, the honor 5C is adequately equipped. It is packed with a 5.2-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS display, a HiSilicon Kirin 650 processor paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, 13MP rear and 8MP front-facing cameras, as well as a 3,000mAh battery.
Other noteworthy specifications of the honor 5C include a rear fingerprint sensor, a metal back, as well as Emotion UI 4.1 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
