As reported earlier this month, Flash Malaysia today has officially announced the arrival of its latest smartphone – the Flash Plus 2. Fresh from its global announcement, the new metal bodied device will be opened for pre-order starting today onwards.
Specifically, the pre-order will take place at Lazada Malaysia later today starting from 3:00 pm onwards for RM 599 which is actually much lower than its global reference price that was announced during its launch event last week. However, only the 16GB variant with 2GB RAM is available in Malaysia at the moment while the 32GB model with 3GB RAM will be released towards mid or end of June 2016 for RM 729.
As for the other general specifications of the new smartphone, the Flash Plus 2 carries a 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) display and a 1.8GHz MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755M octa-core processor alongside 13-megapixels main camera with dual-tone LED flash, and 5-megapixels front camera with single LED flash.
It also comes with 3,000 mAh battery, fingerprint scanner, and pre-installed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Flash will also released several accessories for Flash Plus 2 including tempered glass screen protector, gel-based casing, premium headphones, and lens kit in the near future.
