For those who are looking for an affordable first smartphone, or a second smartphone, Digi is offering the Alcatel Pop 4 for only RM259. The telco is offering the entry-level smartphone with its Digi Postpaid 48 plan tied to a 12 months contract.
The Alcatel Pop 4 retails at RM499 but if you sign up for a contract with the telco, you can get it at only RM259 – no upfront payment required. All you need to do is play an advance payment for the plan (RM48), which means that the payment upon check out is only RM307. Digi Postpaid 48 comes with 3GB of monthly data, 100 minutes of talk time and 100 SMS each month. Additional usage are charged at 15sen/min and 10sen/SMS.
The Alcatel Pop 4 is one of the latest smartphones from Alcatel. It features a 5” HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, and is powered by a 1.1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable storage. There is an 8MP camera at the back, and a 5MP selfie camera with 84-degree wide-angle lens. Other specs include 2500mAh removable battery, and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
