Asus has unveiled its very own League of Legends tournament called the ROG Champion Cup. In partnership with Garena, the tournament is open to all Malaysians and will see a total of eight teams battling it out in the knockout stage for their share of the RM60,000 prize pool.
Here is how the tournament bracket will look like:
The ROG Champion Cup qualifier rounds will be held in all states at selected cyber cafes. The qualifiers will be happening on the 14th of May 2016, from 11am to 6pm. Teams will be competing in a single elimination, best of one format, and registration is limited to the first 16 teams. Besides that, teams will also win qualifier prizes – 2,500 RP each team (500 RP/member). For the full list of participating cyber cafes, click here.
Take note that these stages of the tournament will be an online-only event, with the grand finals happening on the 25th of June 2016 at the Sunway Pyramid Ice Rink, which is pretty cool.
