Acer Malaysia has posted a few teasers of the Predator 15 on its Facebook page, and sure enough, it has received a launch date in Malaysia. Unveiled back at IFA 2015, the Predator 15 is quite a capable machine.
For starters, the Predator 15 is equipped with Intel’s latest and greatest generation of processors yet. The Skylake chipset that is powering the Predator 15 is a Core i7-6700HQ processor paired with up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM. Even more impressive is the fact that the gaming laptop can be equipped with up to 512GB of SSD storage that is coupled with a 1TB HDD. These capacities, however, will most probably not come cheap.
When it comes to gaming, the Predator 15 is more than capable for a laptop. Packed with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M graphics card, it will have no issue running most modern games at maximum settings. The 15 also has a 15.6-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS display, a 6,000mAh battery, and Windows 10 out of the box.
Our source has mentioned that more than one new Acer product will be launched alongside the Predator 15 in Malaysia, although we don’t exactly know what the other product (or products) could be. In any case, we will find out on 14 December next month.
