Fnatic Gear

A huge name in global eSports scene, Fnatic made its mark in the scene through multiple success in tournaments over the years in multiple game titles such as Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2 and League of Legends. Recently the team have decided to embark into game peripherals business by announcing its own brand called Fnatic Gear.

Obviously, Fnatic Gear products are based on the team’s years of experience as a top-tier eSports organization. Furthermore, they also revolved around the concept of simplicity, comfort and reliability.

Fnatic Gear

In order to come out with Fnatic Gear peripherals, the team has actually acquired Func Inc which is a gaming peripherals company based in Sweden. For starters, Fnatic Gear’s line up consisted of RUSH mechanical keyboard, FLICK optical mouse, FOCUS cloth-based mouse pad, and BOOST hard mouse pad.

Interestingly though, Fnatic has choose to release its Fnatic Gear peripherals through the crowdfunding method at Indegogo first instead of directly to the market. With a goal of USD 133,700 (about RM 572,300), the campaign has since attracted 240 backers and USD 27,680 (about RM 118,358) worth of funding since it went live earlier this week.

In terms of pricing, the Fnatic Gear mouse pads starts at USD 19 (RM 82) while its FLICK optical mouse cost USD 49 (RM 210). As for the RUSH mechanical keyboard, it is listed at USD 119 (RM 509). Since Fnatic Gear peripherals is currently available exclusively through Indiegogo at the moment, you might want to add shipping cost as well if you want to get your hands on one (or several) of these new gaming gears.

The team expects to begin shipping Fnatic gear products to customers starting next month onwards. To learn more, head on to fnaticgear.com.
