Video Games Live 2016 Kuala Lumpur

As you might have heard, Video Games Live (VGL) concert in Kuala Lumpur that supposed to take place last month was postponed due to security concerns. While the new date for the show has been confirmed early on, it took the related parties additional time to announce the new venue of VGL KL.

In an e-mail to ticket holders last weekend, the concert which will take place on 27 February 2016 will be held at Stadium Negara. By now, we believe that all ticket holders should have received the e-mail below even for those who have requested refund for their tickets due to the show’s postponement.

The new venue has also been announced on the promoter’s official website and VGL KL’s Facebook page. However, this new date has yet to appear to VGL’s main website.

It is also not known how the organizer adapt the seating of Stadium Negara to those in Stadium Putra given the obvious differences between the two stadiums. Furthermore, a number of concert goers have pointed out that they have yet to receive their refunds.

Nevertheless, the tickets for the new venue is now available for sale at the promoter’s official website. The pricing for the tickets remains the same as per the original show at Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil with the exception of a newly added zone called The Moat which is a free standing area at the top part of the stadium that is priced at RM 45.

[Thanks to the anonymous tipster, for the ticket confirmation e-mail.]
