Wish to get an iPhone 6, or even the older iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c? U Mobile is currently having a Merdeka promotion, offering up to RM350 for the iPhone, and is available with a postpaid or prepaid plan from the telco.
The telco is offering RM350 discount on 128GB iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, as well as the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c. For other iPhone models (16GB/64GB iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus), you will enjoy a discount of RM200.
As usual, the telco is offering the iPhones with its iPlans – i40, i60, i90 and i130.
For postpaid users, it comes with a 24 months Contract Freedom. This means that while you have to sign up for 24 months, if you wish to terminate your contract before two years, you won’t have to pay for any penalty. Just pay back the subsidy for the number of months left in your contract.
For prepaid subscribers, there is no contract, but you will need to stay active for at least 24 months so you can get back the rebates from the Upfront Payment you pay upon signing up for the offer. Should you wish to terminate your service, there will be no penalty charges, but you will lose out on your upfront payment.
