It looks like the Celcom First One Plan with RM20 rebate isn’t the only Merdeka promotion offered by Celcom. The telco is also offering an all-new PortaWiFi 2.0 that comes with 7GB of all-day data, 14GB of off-peak data, and a free 4G LTE PortaWiFi 2.0 dongle for only RM85 a month, contract applies.
The 4G LTE PortaWiFi dongle from Celcom retails at RM349, but if you sign up for the promotion, you can get the dongle for free. The plan that comes with 7GB of internet and 7GB complimentary Celcom WiFi for 24 hours, and extra 14GB of internet (and 14GB complimentary Celcom WiFi) for usage between 2am and 8am.
The usual price for this plan is RM100 a month, but Celcom is offering a RM15 discount, making it RM85 a month. On top of that, you can also carry forward unused internet to a maximum of 7GB from the 24 hours allocation.
As always, an upfront payment of RM220 is required, which will be credited back to your bill over 10 months (RM22 each month). A registration fee and activation fee of RM100 in total is required too.
