As expected, HTC has just launched the HTC One E9+, the plastic version of its flagship HTC One M9+, here in Malaysia. The device features high-end specs, and has a slightly more affordable price tag of RM1,899.
The HTC One E9+ may be the plastic sibling to the HTC One M9+, it still comes with a premium look and feel, featuring a metal strip along the side, as well as a similar duo-tone design. There is a slightly larger 5.5” Ultra display at the front, offering a pixel density of 534ppi.
On the inside, it is powered by the same 2.0GHz 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio x10 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 32GB via microSD slot. The HTC One E9+ offered here in Malaysia is a dual-SIM variant.
While the One E9+ may not have a Duo Camera setup like the One M9+, it still uses a 20MP sensor that comes with a f/2.2 lens, and is capable of capturing 4K video. The front on the other hand has a HTC UltraPixel shooter.
Other specs include LTE, NFC, 2,800mAh battery, HTC BoomSound front-facing speakers, and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box with HTC Sense UI. Check out our previous Spec Sheet post to see how the HTC One E9+ compares against its more premium siblings – the HTC One M9 and One M9+.

The HTC One E9+ is available in three colours – Classic Rose Gold (white and gold), and Gold Sepia (grey and gold), and will go on sale starting today from all authorised dealers and resellers for a retail price of RM1,899.
