First launched in Singapore back in May 2015, Page Advisor is now available in Malaysia. Basically, it is the first “real-time” mobile commerce marketplace platform for home and lifestyle services. The real-time aspect of the service comes in the form of merchants bidding for your job request in real-time. The best part? There’s no limit to the amount of merchants that can bid on your request.

Page Advisor told us that its list of services will grow over time. As it is, there are already more than 100 services listed on it, which include photographers, emcees, plumbers, electricians, and even makeup artists. To celebrate its launch in Malaysia, Page Advisor is offering a rebate of up to RM20 to first time users. Of course, this promotion is only valid until the 31st of July 2015.

What sets Page Advisor apart from its competition is the fact that it offers something called Merchant Guarantee Programme (MGP). If users are not satisfied with the service offered by an MGP merchant, they can get a full refund. To be fair, merchants who sign up for the programme will be eligble for a lower platform fee.

Page Advisor has received a pretty favourable response in Singapore, with some of the top requests being air conditioning service (32%) and get this: durian delivery, which is about 9% of the total requests. The company is hoping to get the same (or even better) reception among Malaysians.

At the time of writing, Page Advisor’s services are only available in the Klang Valley area. We were told it would make its way to Penang in the coming weeks once enough merchants have signed up with the service, so keep your eyes peeled.

The Page Advisor app is now available on Google’s Play Store and Apple’s App Store. More information on the service can be found on its official website.
