We didn’t really expect this to happen since it usually takes some time for a new product to be available in our market but as it turns out, ASUS GeForce GTX 980 Ti graphics card apparently has landed in Malaysia. The price, you asked? A whopping RM 3,199.
At that price tag which already inclusive of GST, the ASUS GTX 980 Ti is indeed higher than the base price that NVIDIA announced earlier this week. Additionally, ASUS Malaysia didn’t clearly specify the actual variant of GTX 980 Ti that the company is releasing to Malaysia today but we believe that it is the model with reference thermal solution.
If that is true, that means the ASUS GTX 980 Ti is identical to NVIDIA’s reference design with no modification whatsoever. Furthermore, the company also didn’t list down any specific retailers that already made the card available for their customers.
Hence, we do suggest you to give a call to your favourite retailers to make sure that the ASUS GeForce GTX 980 Ti has really arrived at their store.
