Ever discovered an upcoming app or game on the Play Store that you just can’t wait to get your hands on? Google now allows users to pre-register for an app that is listed as “coming soon”, and receive alerts once it becomes available for download or buy.
The feature is making its debut on the game “Terminator Genisys: Revolution”. If you check out the Play Store for the game, it’ll be listed as “coming soon”, and if you tap into it, you’ll be allowed to pre-register for the app. Pricing and availability will not be listed, but instead, the Play Store will send you a notification on your device when the app is released. Unregistering is just a tap away.
The ability to pre-register for apps and games makes a lot of sense, especially for a movie related apps like Terminator. This is also especially useful for developers to gauge the interest in the app before releasing it.
