Excited to see what Oppo has got to offer in the Oppo R7, that is said to be bezel-free? Mark your calendar for May 2015 because the Chinese company just released a teaser saying that it’s coming soon.
The Oppo R7 is said to be super thin, even thinner than the current R5. On top of that, based on several leaks and even a teaser posted into the company’s Facebook page, the R7 also comes with a borderless design on both sides of the device.
Oppo bezel-free patent
The bezel-free design is said to be made possible using a new patented design that project images onto the edge of the phone’s screen, making it look like it’s been stretched from edge to edge. Check out the previous video leak showing off a bezel-free phone in action. We don’t know if it’s true, but according to the teaser image shared by Oppo, the bezel does look almost non-existent on its 2.5D glass screen.
Specs wise, the Oppo R7 is rumoured to come with a 4.7” Full HD display, powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek processor, has a 20.7 shooter at the back, 2000mAh battery and a fingerprint scanner.
Oppo did not mention the exact date that they will be unveiling the device, but according to previous rumours, the event should be held on 20 May 2015, so stay tuned as we keep you updated on the latest news.
