If you’ve been waiting for Sony Malaysia to bring in the 4K Action Cam that was unveiled earlier this year at CES 2015, here it is. The Sony 4K Action Cam FDR-X1000VR is now available for a retail price of RM2,199, GST included.
Announced in CES 2015, the new 4K Action Cam from Sony can capture stunning videos at 3840 x 2160 @30p resolution, and can be shared directly on a compatible 4K TV via a HDMI cable. For those of you who do not wish to record 4K videos, the new X1000VR also has enhanced HD video performance with upgraded video stabilisation, video quality and high frame rate shooting.
The FDR-X1000VR is available for RM2,199 on Sony Malaysia’s online store. The package includes a 4K Action Cam along with a Live View Remote Kit.
For those of you who do not require something so powerful (and expensive), the new HD Action Cam AS200V is also available in Malaysia for a retail price of RM1,599.
The AS200V shares many from the X1000V like full pixel readout image, improved image stabilisation, clean HDMI output and upgraded manual controls however, instead of recording at a 4K resolution, it captures 1080p/30Mbps videos at 60p. It can also capture videos at 720p at 120p, as well as WVGA videos at 240p.
