It’s been a while since we heard anything from P1 and it looks like they’re back in action again. The company recently introduced new “unlimited” P1 ToGo Plan plans from as low as RM115.54 a month, inclusive of GST. On top of that, they are also offering the first month for free if you subscribe online.
The new internet plans from P1 comes with a MiFi modem, P1 MX 230 and offers “unlimited” internet at 1Mbps or 2Mbps. There’s a 24 months contract, but P1 pay one month of your bill for you if you subscribe online. But wait, is it really “unlimited”? Not exactly, only the first 100GB is truly unlimited, speeds after that will be reduced and will return to normal in the next billing cycle. But still, 100GB sounds like a lot, especially for an internet on-the-go plan. The unlimited quota is for personal and residential subscription only and abusive and business use is subjected to traffic management.
If you don’t require unlimited internet, there is a cheaper option too at RM62.54/month and it comes with 5GB of data at 1Mbps. It also comes with a free P1 MX 230 MiFi, as well as a 24 months contract and is also eligible for a 1 month fee waiver for online purchases.
There’s a purchase with purchase deal too for these new plans from P1. If you sign up for any of the above packages, you are entitled to an “exclusive discount offer” to get a UH 235 or UT 235 at RM15.37 each.
Do note that the MiFi modem is profided on a free rental basis with lifetime warranty. Upon service termination, the modem with complete accessories is required to return to P1.
