Good news for Digi prepaid users, the telco recently launched the “most affordable Facebook packages”, allowing you to stay connected on the social network from as low as RM0.50 a day.
Available immediately, there are two packages for you to pick from. The first one offers 100MB of data for only RM0.50 a day. The catch? You can only use that data to browse Facebook. For heavier users, you can opt for the RM1 package, which offers 150MB of data to be used on Facebook and Twitter; it even comes with unlimited social message and internet surfing even after you have exceeded your data limit though of course, terms and conditions applies as well.
Do note that the unlimited social messaging is only available for WeChat and WhatsApp, and unlimited internet surfing is only limited to surfing within Opera Mini app.
To subscribe to the new Facebook/Twitter packages, simply dial *116*3*1*1# for RM0.50 plan, or *116*3*2*1# for the RM1 plan. If you exceed your quota for both plans, your speed will be controlled until the next renewal date though, the RM1 plan subscribers may continue browsing the internet on Opera Mini, and chatting on WhatsApp and WeChat (inclusive of pictures and videos too).
That said, do note that these packages are auto renewed, so if you do not wish to continue, you may unsubscribe by calling *128*3*1*1#. These new Facebook/Twitter plans are available for all Digi prepaid subscribers except for Prepaid Internet, Prepaid Smart Plan and Happy subscribers.
